 Brewing great coffee starts with great beans, but how you brew it can make all the difference! Explore our step-by-step guides to unlock the perfect flavor of your C&B Coffee with every cup. 


 French Press

What You’ll Need:

French press

Freshly ground C&B Coffee (medium-coarse grind)

Hot water (just off the boil)

Spoon

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Add 1 gram of C&B Coffee for every 15 grams of water (about 2 tablespoons per 6 oz).

Pour in hot water, filling halfway to let the coffee bloom. Stir gently.

Add the rest of the water and place the lid on, but don’t press yet.

Wait 4 minutes, then slowly press the plunger down.

Pour into your favorite mug and enjoy the bold, smooth flavors of C&B Coffee!


Pour-Over

What You’ll Need:

Pour-over dripper (like a V60 or Chemex)

Filter

Freshly ground C&B Coffee (medium grind)

Hot water

Scale (optional)

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Place the filter in your dripper and rinse it with hot water. Discard the water.

Add C&B Coffee grounds (1 gram for every 16 grams of water, about 2 tablespoons per 8 oz).

Slowly pour a small amount of water over the grounds to bloom (wait 30 seconds).

Continue pouring in a slow, circular motion until you reach your desired volume.

Drip Coffee Maker

What You’ll Need:

Freshly ground C&B Coffee (medium-fine grind)

  1. Add a paper filter to your coffee maker and rinse it (if desired). Add C&B Coffee grounds (1-2 tablespoons per 6 oz of water).

  1. Chill the Tools: Place a mixing bowl and whisk (or beaters) in the freezer for 10–15 minutes to ensure everything stays cold. This helps the cream whip faster.
  2. Combine Ingredients: In the chilled bowl, add the heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar, chilled coffee, and vanilla extract (if using).
  3. Whip It:
    • Using an electric mixer or whisk, beat the mixture on medium-high speed until soft peaks form. This usually takes 3–5 minutes.
    • For firmer whipped cream, continue beating until stiff peaks form, but be careful not to overwhip, or it might turn into butter.
